How To Build A Personalized Thesis Design Tool That Supports You Throughout Your Research Journey
A 3-Step Plan to Systematically Build Your Thesis & Improve Your Confidence While You Work On Your Research
Discover the simple way to demystify academic research with a proven tool, which not only helps you stay on track but becomes a companion for your research journey. In just 1-day, you’ll produce a comprehensive summary of your Thesis, develop a much-improved understanding of your research, and have the confidence to know what to work on next (and how to make consistent progress) with your personalized thesis-design tool.
The truth is, without a systematic approach, you risk confusion, lost confidence, wasted time, and falling behind.
Without a concrete plan you can find yourself:
Wasting valuable time on irrelevant or unfocused tasks
Falling behind despite all your hard work and effort
Struggling to comprehend your thesis topic area
Feeling confused and alone in a long and uncertain research journey
Becoming stuck trying to understand academic decisions, terminology, or concepts
Because if your not in control of your research and thesis, it’s probably controlling you and your life :(
So join me on this online-video masterclass where you’ll learn EXACTLY how to create a thesis design tool that not only helps you make instant progress today but will also become a personal companion for your research journey
In 1-day you’ll:
Discover a proven framework that allows you to create an authoritative - and complete, clear, and coherent - account of your research
Relieve the mental burden of ideas, thoughts, questions, and doubts running through your mind by systematically organizing them on a single page
Stop worrying whether you’ve missed (or misunderstood) something important by recognizing and covering off on all the fundamental components, decisions, and questions in your research project
Replace “blah blah blah” / unfocused writing by practicing how to capture key points with succinct sentences
Avoid the common mistakes of having disjointed ideas spread over multiple pages and documents, or losing / forgetting about important points all together!
Uncover the 3 things to remove from your work-in-progress documents or thesis chapters (irrelevant points, isolated elements, and repetitive content)
Build a personalized thesis-design tool that you can utilise at different stages throughout your research journey
Finally, pinpoint strengths and weaknesses in your project, plan what to work on next, and be clear about how you are going to develop and improve your research

Meet your instructor…
Hi, I'm Dr. Ben!
Having struggled with my own PhD journey and witnessing other students suffer the complexity of academic research and the thesis and paper writing process, I began to explore how to simplify the overwhelming task of planning, designing, conducting, and writing research.
My academic journey took a chance turn when a friend introduced me to the business model canvas - a design tool created to help entrepreneurs, business owners, and companies create and evaluate business models. Seeing how the canvas simplified a complex process, I began to build a design tool for researchers - the research design canvas.
The research design canvas has been downloaded and used by students from universities in countries across the world. I’ve delivered research training on how to use the canvas and other tools in seminars, workshops, and webinars (to see feedback from students who have benefited, see below).
I’m now happy to provide online courses to help you build confidence and make progress in your research. I realise the last thing you want or need is additional reading, so the online training are all ON-DEMAND VIDEO-based courses, with clear step-by-step instructions of how to make progress in your research, without the extra reading burden :)
"The research design canvas showed me an iterative way in which to build my research approach, whilst ensuring that I understood the specific value of the different building blocks such as literature, theory, methods, and methodology. It certainly ensured that when I am working late into the evening I have a tool to help and guide me.”
Dr. Louise Mayo
"I’m mature age, STEM, with no language difficulties but what you presented became the basis for my confirmation seminar. The session was the best pay-off for time invested in research training so far.
“I began to question the thesis plan in my proposal because results didn’t fit the original aims. The canvas prompted me to think more deeply about the gap between themes + issues in the literature (theoretical) and those revealed in my data. This enabled me to formulate new research questions for my study.”
Jennifer Duxbury
“I am at the commencement of the write-up phase of my PhD in anthropology and was surprised how useful I found the Research Design Canvas. It has helped untangle the web of ideas, thoughts and knowledge in my head and separate them in a comprehensible way which had an appreciably calming effect on my nerves.

Results from my online research training:
97% of participants said it had a positive influence on their confidence
95% of participants said it was a valuable use of their time (55% said extremely valuable)
98% of participants has increased confidence to start or make progress in their research
